160 Computers Installed
Christ's Hope USA - June 2004

Northland Church's Go-team finished a year-long initiative by traveling to Namibia to install computers in the CHI Arks, at YFC, several churches, schools and other non-governmental organizations. This was a community-wide effort by individuals and families in Florida. Recently we received a card from Beata Mwahi, a student at one of the schools benefiting from this effort. She writes: "Dear life savers... thank you for the 10 computers donated and installed in my school.... I write [this note] because you are really life savers because [these] computers mean everything to us in school... May God Bless you now & forever."

DELAND -- The free computer Laqwanda Taylor received Tuesday means she will no longer have to ask her teachers for extensions to complete her assignments.

The 14-year-old 10th-grader was using a public library's computer for one hour a day and sometimes she was late turning in school papers, said her mother, Lawanda Taylor.
